Thought you may like details on the EURO birth- I don't agree that it was 1.1.99 at midnight as per your article listing.  See enclosed details taken from financial uk newspapers

Official fix was later than the 10.30 CET planned- actually according to Daily Telegraph at 10.50 CET or 11.50 GMT  on 31.12.98 in Brussels.
Jupiter exactly rising 21.53 Pisces with Asc 21.56- Moon gemini trine Mars Libra

Trading began either:
Credit Suisse First Boston- Joe Prendergast- did a trade Dec 30th 98 - source FT
 ( unofficial- settlement would be on 4th)

Reports of either first official trades at 7am local time Mon 4th 99 Wellington New Zealand- which is 7pm GMT, Sunday 3rd Jan in London ( Daily Telegraph 1.1.99)
( Cp asc and venus/neptune rising , Mars angular in 10th or
5am Monday 4th Jan Sydney Australia which is 6pm Sunday eve GMT London

yes it is likely that the newspaper here did not correctly specify the GMT or CET time
and they reported it was fixed late at 11.50 so I can see that 12.52 would be right as CET
The dreaded time thing for astrologers everywhere! Maybe we should all do horary!

Intrigued by the champagne transaction- no Financial newspaper here reported it and they still say the 'official trading' started on 4th as 1st a holiday- still we now have lots of dates to play with!
